The special active ingredient is selectively absorbed by the algae and inhibits their ability to photosynthesize. This leads to the destruction of the algae within two to three weeks. Tetra Pond AlgoFin* also prevents the development of other algae. This product is suitable for ornamental ponds with fish, plants, and microorganisms. To achieve the best possible result, shake Tetra Pond AlgoFin* well before use and follow the detailed instructions. Thanks to the provided measuring cap, Tetra Pond AlgoFin* can be dosed very precisely. Use the measuring cap and add 50 ml for 1,000 L of pond water and distribute the liquid evenly in the water, for example using a stick. Remove as much algae as possible before and after treatment, for example using the Tetra Algae Net, as dead algae can harm water quality. Ensure sufficient oxygen supply and do not filter using UV clarifiers or activated charcoal for at least seven days after adding the product. During treatment, do not make any water changes for four weeks. To combat heavy algae proliferation, you can repeat the treatment using half the recommended amount after these four weeks.
