Danger:

To avoid any risk of electric shock, special care should be taken when using the equipment near water. Do not attempt repairs yourself; consult a qualified electrician and/or return the equipment to the store where you purchased it.

This Proten LED lighting system features a waterproof design with IP67 protection but should only be used indoors. The Proten LED light is intended for aquariums.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or material damage.

If in doubt about the installation or operation of this Proten LED lighting system, please consult a qualified and experienced electrician.

Attention:

To prevent injury, it is essential to follow the safety instructions below:

- Disconnect all aquarium devices connected to the mains before putting your hands in the water or performing maintenance on the Proten LED lamp.

- Always hold the Proten LED lamp when mounting it on the aquarium frame to prevent it from falling into the water.

- Regularly check the security of the fittings and extendable legs of your Proten LED.

- Never look directly at the LEDs to protect your eyes.

- Be particularly careful when handling the Proten LED lamp.

- After a long period of operation, the surface of the lamp may be hot; turn it off and let it cool.

- If the Proten LED lamp falls into the water, do not attempt to retrieve it; disconnect the power supply first.

- Use the Proten LED lamp only for its intended purpose. Using fixtures and accessories from brands other than Aquarium Systems is not recommended and may be dangerous for the aquarium.

- Never install or store the Proten LED lamp in areas exposed to extreme weather conditions or temperatures below 0°C.

The flexible outer cable or cord of this fixture cannot be replaced: if the cable is damaged, the fixture must be disposed of.

Installation:

- Choose a suitable location near your power source. Disconnect the main power supply before installation and ensure that the power unit for the Proten LED lamp is in a well-ventilated area away from any other power source: AC100-240V 50/60Hz power supply.

- The Proten LED lamp can be mounted on the aquarium using the extendable legs and secured with the provided accessories.

Electrical installation:

This device must be grounded and the circuit should be protected by an appropriate fuse.

Before proceeding with the installation, ensure that the voltage and frequency ratings of the Proten LED lamp's power supply match the mains supply and choose a socket that is perfectly compatible with the mains.

Plug the Proten LED lamp into its power supply and ensure that the switches are in the off position. Connect the power supply of the Proten LED lamp to the mains. You can then operate the switches.

Cleaning:

Disconnect the mains supply and allow the Proten LED lamp to cool before cleaning to avoid leaving streaks.

Regular cleaning will enhance the appearance and performance of your Proten LED.

After allowing the lamp to cool, use a damp cloth to wipe only the main body of the Proten LED lamp, and gently clean the plastic cover that protects the LEDs.
