Give your rodent plenty of freedom to move outside the cage, without the risk of escape. Carefully close the two halves of the Runner Ball. Pay special attention to ensure that your rodent's paws do not get caught between them. Make sure you have a surface that is as flat as possible and limit playtime with the Roller Ball to a maximum of 20 minutes. Never leave your rodent unattended in the ball and avoid direct sunlight! Choose a ball that is large enough so that your rodent's back is not too arched, but supported.
