The warm stable blanket offers warmth and comfort to the horse and is at the same time extremely rider friendly. Even though the rug offers a lot of warmth, it is still very breathable thanks to the combination of materials. Fabrics and materials The inside of the stable rug is lined with artificial rabbit skin, which is characteristic of Kentucky. This lining prevents rubbing and makes the horse's coat shine. In addition, the artificial rabbit skin creates an insulating layer around the horse as it traps and retains the horse's body health. For extra warmth, we have added 400g of fiber padding. This padding has a similar effect to down but is more user friendly. The exterior of the sophisticated stable blanket is made of high tenacity 600D polyester and is quilted in a diamond pattern. The quilting in combination with the 600D polyester makes the rug incredibly hard to tear. In addition, the shavings do not stick to the fabric.
