Our leather mouthpiece is particularly suitable for young horses and those that are extremely sensitive. Even horses that cannot tolerate reins at all generally accept a leather bit willingly and can relearn to approach the bit with confidence. The loose ring allows for greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The ring bit is therefore intended for horses that prefer a more mobile model in their mouth. The ring also slides very easily in the copper rings, which significantly increases the bit's lifespan. By choosing the right bit, you can better meet the horse's needs. It combines the effect of a tongue passage and the positive properties of the butterfly cannon. The cannon Beris KONNEX is more elongated, positioning itself very comfortably in the horse's mouth, providing more space, and the arch also widens significantly with the KONNEX cannon. The mouthpiece should be soaked in vegetable oil for a few hours before its first use. Repeat this process as soon as the leather seems dry. Before each use, briefly soak the bit in clear water and clean it thoroughly after use, as saliva can erode the leather.
