You can consume both the stems and the flowers of the Ciboulette commune.

Fresh, with its strong flavour that lies between onion and shallot, it will enhance the taste of your soups, sauces, and various recipes.

After harvesting from your garden, you can freeze what you haven't used either by placing the leaves in an air-free freezer bag and putting it in the freezer or by chopping the leaves into ice cube trays, filling them with water or oil, and placing them in the freezer. If dried, it will lose much of its flavour.
