The EDEN Bioponis kitchen gardens are equipped with high-performance LED light panels specifically designed for horticulture and indoor plant growth. Our light panels cover the entire surface of the kitchen garden for better light distribution so that all plants benefit from the same quality of light. For this reason, the Bioponis kitchen gardens rank among the most efficient on the market and can adapt to both dark and very lit areas.

Our light panels come with 3 colours of LEDs: White - Blue - Red.

The blue lights promote seed germination and seedling growth. The white and red lights support flowering and fruiting of the plants.
A plant has different needs depending on its life stage. For optimum performance, the kitchen garden's lighting must adapt to the plants' needs; this is what Bioponis offers with the EDEN kitchen gardens. In addition to being equipped with a timer that allows the kitchen garden to turn on and off automatically, a "Touch Area" touch button located on top of the kitchen garden allows for controlling the quality of the lighting:

Press and hold the button to turn the kitchen garden on.

- Press briefly on the button to switch between "GROWTH" mode and "FLOWERING" mode.

- "GROWTH" mode is suited for the germination and full growth phase. The kitchen garden is lit for 16 hours with normal light intensity and turned off for 8 hours. The blue LEDs are on.

- "FLOWERING" mode is designed for the pre-flowering and flowering phase. The kitchen garden is lit for 16 hours with reduced light intensity and turned off for 8 hours. The blue LEDs are off.

The LED panel of the EDEN kitchen gardens is mounted on a telescopic pole to always keep the light close to the leaves. We recommend setting the panel about 5 to 7 cm above the tallest plant.

All our kitchen gardens come with a pump and filtration foams, which help oxygenate the organic nutrient solution and filter out the larger fertiliser particles. Thanks to this pump, the Bioponis kitchen gardens benefit from an active circulation of the nutrient solution around the roots and can be used in bioponics.
Using organic fertilisers requires their transformation to be usable by the plants. This transformation is carried out by a population of essential microorganisms. A mineral filtration mass made from pumice is added to the bottom of the tank to enable these microorganisms to thrive. To reduce electricity consumption, the pump operates alternately for 30 minutes every hour.
