The shell

The outer shell of the helmet, which is thicker, is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse the energy of the impact across the helmet's surface. When your helmet hits an object, the shell distributes the shock wave by dissipating it. Light and rigid, it is known for its high resistance to scratches.

The inner padding

Featuring an innovative new shape and made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), the inner padding absorbs the energy generated by impacts by dispersing it. It then crushes and becomes much denser.

The inside is partially covered with blue ventilated pads: ERT (Energy Reduction Technology). This new technology allows for better energy distribution from both small and large impacts. Additionally, it has an anti-rotational feature. By acting along the shell during a moving impact, the ventilated pads follow the movements of your head to limit the risk of trauma.

The ventilation

The riding helmet Précision Galaxy Eclipse features a new ventilation system: 11 holes are present inside the helmet, and 2 vents are located at the front and back of the helmet. This innovation provides better air circulation and good thermal regulation. Additionally, ventilation channels are present beneath the visor, also promoting better internal ventilation.

The fastening system

Completely redesigned for greater practicality, the helmet's strap is equipped with a Fidlock magnetic buckle. This allows you to secure the helmet with one hand while riding. The fastening of the riding helmet is equipped with a polyamide safety ring, providing double protection for the rider.

The harness, made of leather and nylon, ensures a good fit of the helmet on the rider's head. The 3-point Y-shaped fixture ensures better stability of the helmet on the head.

The inner bonnet

Made of foam, lycra, and 2D mesh, the inner bonnet allows you to perfectly fit your riding helmet.

The bonnet is removable, making it easy to take off for cleaning.

The pads are sold with the helmet.

The little extra comfort?

Elastic bands at the back of the helmet allow for decompression at the back of the head. So you can ride with your hair tied up and still be comfortable.

The Eclipse visor

The Eclipse visor is inspired by women's hats. Elegant, the wide visor has been designed to protect the skin from the sun. It does not interfere with the field of vision.

The European standard EN1384-2023 requires the visor to flex when a load is applied to it. This is to prevent it from breaking and injuring the rider. Therefore, the visor of the Antarès helmets is intentionally flexible.
