The shell
The outer shell of the helmet is thicker and made of ABS. Its role is to disperse the energy of the impact across the surface of the helmet. When your helmet hits an object, the shell spreads the shock wave by dissipating it. Lightweight and rigid, it is known for its high resistance to scratches.

The padding
Featuring a new innovative shape and made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), the padding absorbs the energy of impacts by dispersing it. It then crushes and becomes much denser.

The inside is partially covered with blue honeycombed pads: the ERT (Energy Reduction Technology). This new technology allows for better energy distribution from both small and large impacts. Furthermore, it has an anti-rotational feature. By acting along the shell during a moving impact, the honeycomb pads follow the movements of your head to limit the risk of trauma.

The ventilation
The Précision Galaxy Eclipse helmet has a new ventilation system: 11 holes are present inside the helmet, and 2 vents are placed at the front and back of the helmet. This feature provides better air circulation and good thermal regulation. Additionally, ventilation channels are present beneath the visor, which also promote better internal ventilation.

The fastening system
Completely redesigned for more convenience, the helmet's attachment is equipped with a Fidlock magnetic buckle. It allows you to fasten the helmet with one hand while you are on horseback. The attachment of the riding helmet is equipped with a polyamide safety ring, ensuring double protection for the rider.

The harness, made of leather and nylon, ensures a good fit of the helmet on the rider's head. The Y-shaped 3-point fixture ensures better stability of the helmet on the head.

What’s the comfort bonus?
Elastic bands at the back of the helmet allow for decompression at the back of the head. So, you can ride with your hair tied up while still being comfortable.

The Eclipse visor
The Eclipse visor is inspired by women's hats. Elegant, the wide visor has been designed to protect the skin from the sun. It does not obstruct the field of vision.

The European standard EN1384-2023 requires the flexibility of the visor when a load is applied to it. This is to prevent it from breaking and injuring the rider. The visors of the Antarès helmets are therefore deliberately flexible.
