Saddle Pad Merino+

Straight cut dressage half chaps, updated and improved by LeMieux, featuring a new quilting pattern to fit the horse's shape.

The deeper right front edge is designed to align with dressage saddles. Buttonhole slits on the front edge allow for fastening LeMieux saddle pads with D attachments. This combination means that the standard velcro straps on the half chaps can be removed if desired.

These high-quality half chaps showcase our natural Australian Merino+ sheepskin blend. Merino+ provides resilient cushioning and breathability from merino wool, along with the durability and quick-drying properties of modern fibers.

An improved length under the saddle, a clear spine, a high shape at the withers and an anti-chafe lumbar area offer optimal fit and comfort.

Place your half chaps on a saddle pad, a fine cotton square, or directly on the horse's back.

• Remove hair, dirt, and dried sweat with a stiff brush
• Machine wash at 30° on a gentle/wool cycle or by hand
• Use Lemieux Wool Wash (available from LeMieux)
• Smooth/flatten the cotton fabric after washing
• Air dry near a heat source
• Never use a tumble dryer
• Avoid using strong fabric softeners
• Please ensure all velcro fastenings are securely closed before washing Warning: In rare cases, dye from black wool items may bleed and give a slight blue tint. Stains may occur on grey coats.
